The Sailmaker's Loft is a small family run Bed & Breakfast situated in the heart of the Old Town. The house was originally a ware- house that was converted by the owner's great grandmother to a dwelling house in 1932. Mrs Glover used to house Naval Officers until the second world war broke out and then she was ordered not to. After the conflict,her family who had been bombed out lived there until the last  relative sold the property to the current owner and he converted it back into a Bed & Breakfast.
